    No child should suffer from abuse.
    And yet, this painful reality persists.

    Founded in 2006 by Susanne Legault-Bourcheix and her family, MA Fondation has a mission to prevent violence against children, alleviate their suffering, and break the silence. Through its donations, the non-profit supports organizations that operate directly with young victims, including the Marie-Vincent Foundation, Covenant House, the socio-legal pediatric clinic of CHU Sainte-Justine, and many more engaged partners.

    In 2025, Susanne shares her dream proudly with her grandchildren, including her eldest granddaughter, who will contribute to this non-profit through her role as vice-president. Together, they are pursuing the same commitment: to build a safer and more caring future for all children.

    About Us

    Our mission

    Prevent. Relieve. Break the silence.

    MA Fondation has the goal to prevent abuse towards children, relieve young victims’ suffering, and sensitize people to the long-term consequences of this violence.

    We believe that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, dignified, and respectful environment. Through donations, we offer financial support to organizations of distinction, including:

    • CHU Sainte-Justine’s socio-legal pediatric clinic, which provides medical, social and judicial care to child victims of physical or sexual abuse;
    • The Marie-Vincent Foundation, through its Expertise Center, which offers complete guidance: medical, psychosocial, police, and legal to young victims of sexual abuse and to their families;
    • Covenant House, which supports youth in vulnerable situations.

    Our Team

    MA Fondation relies on an intergenerational engagement and a team united by a shared mission: to prevent violence towards children and support young victims.

    • Susanne, Founder and President
      Visionary and profoundly engaged, Susanne committed her life to helping others. With the experience of over 20 years of volunteer work, she founded MA Fondation in 2006 to realize her dream of a safer world for children. She continues to inspire the organization’s actions every day.
    • Pierre, Vice-President – Finance and Internal Affairs
      As a founding member, alongside Susanne since 2006, Pierre thoroughly oversees the financial health and internal management of the non-profit. His expertise ensures the operations’ stability and transparency.
    • Mélodie, Vice-President – Communications and external affairs
      Mélodie embodies the next generation. As a nursing student, she puts her passion and engagement to the service of the foundation’s visibility, partnerships and actions in the field.
